I love to teach!

Right now I teach primarily for Aunt Ruth’s Scrap Basket in Sharonville, a suburb of
Cincinnati , OH.

My favorite thing to teach about is color. I once had the opportunity to teach 20 women of the Licking Valley Quilt Guild in Kentucky about color and quilts. I loved it and so did my students.

I am positive, upbeat, and have lived my subject all my life, so it is second nature to me by now. I work very hard to help my students feel much more comfortable with the color choices they are making.

I have also been teaching others how to make the Arrow to the Sun quilt (upper left). What we have found though is that what the class has really become is a class in modified design. We make the crowns, and we make other parts similar to the original quilt, but everyone has ideas as to what colors they want, what materials they want, and what they want to do with their quilt.
Thus it is a class in beginning quilt self-design.

If you are interested in a class, you may contact me for more information.
